Waianae Rotary Club Puts On Annual Christmas Parade

The Waianae Rotary Club plans to have a Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 15. The parade will begin at 10 A.M. leaving the Waianae Boat Harbor and arriving at the Waianae Shopping Center mall.  The parade will show off nine floats and about 800 participants. The Royal Hawaiian Band will also appear in the parade. Not to be missed is Santa Claus who will greet the crowds with aloha and 600 pounds of candy.

Pat Pang (Nozaki) is a retired DOE secondary school teacher who taught school in Waianae for almost 40 years. She has served the community as a member of the Waianae Neighborhood Board and as a delegate to the 1978 Hawaii State Constitutional Convention. She was raised on the Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead and resided in Waianae during her years as a teacher.
