Island Pacific Academy (IPA), an independent JK-12 co-educational school in Kapolei has recently achieved the distinction of becoming an International Baccalaureate Continuum School, and is now fully authorized to offer all three IB Programmes in grades JK-12. IPA offers the IB Primary Years Programme to students in grades JK-5, the Middle Years Programme to students in grades 6-10, and the Diploma Programme to students in grades 11 and 12. By earning this distinction, IPA becomes one of only 35 schools in the Western Hemisphere to offer all three programmes.
“Reaching this goal, which started at IPA in 2006, is an incredible accomplishment for our community,” says Dr. Benjamin Feinstein, IPA’s Head of School. “We are very proud of the work it took to get to this point and excited for the future of Island Pacific Academy. We will continue to offer a world class educational experience right here in on the West side of Oahu.”
