Kapolei High School May Day Celebration

Kapolei High School News – November 26, 2012

Kapolei High School will celebrate May Day with a traditional Hawaiian royal court on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at their football field, starting at 3 P.M. and ending at 8 P.M. The school will double their activities by  adding the theme “Eat  the Street” to its program. Various school clubs will perform songs and dances while approximately thirty vendors will offer an array of food for snacks and dinner. The public is invited to attend.  Mats and lawn chairs are permitted on the grass.

Pat Pang (Nozaki) is a retired DOE secondary school teacher who taught school in Waianae for almost 40 years. She has served the community as a member of the Waianae Neighborhood Board and as a delegate to the 1978 Hawaii State Constitutional Convention. She was raised on the Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead and resided in Waianae during her years as a teacher.
