Kapolei Public Library 10th Anniversary Celebration

Kapolei Public Library, located at 1020 Manawai Street, will host two adult programs. Please contact Sheryl Lynch, AS Librarian, for more information and questions at 808 693-7050.

  • Talking Story with Julia – Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 6:30 P.M.  Local author Julia Keiko Matsui Higa will share stories from her book Being Local in Hawaii. “Talking story” for Julia is a term that means not just telling stories, but telling stories that will enrich our lives, enlighten us, make us wiser and better  people, and call   upon us to do more to make the world a better place. Her book will be available for sale during the program.
  • Meet movie producer and author Jason Scott Jones – Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 1:00 P.M. Local Kapolei resident Jason Scott ones, the movie producer of Bella, Crescendo, and The Stoning of Soraya M, will be at Kapolei Public Library to  discuss his first book, The Race to Save Our Century: Five Core Principles to Promote Peace, Freedom, and a Culture of Life.
