Kapolei Public Library will host local author Kaui Hart Hemmings on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 2 P.M. Hemmings has written House of Thieves, a collection of short stories, and The Descendants, a bestselling novel and Oscar-winning film for best adapted screenplay. Her most recent novel, The Possibilities, has been optioned for a film by Jason Reitman. Miss Hemmings will read from Juniors, her first young adult novel. Her books will be available for purchase, and she will gladly autograph them.
