Annual Book Sale for the Friends of the Library – Kapolei (FOLK)

Kapolei Public Library 10th Anniversary Celebration

The  Friends of the Library-Kapolei is holding its annual book sale on Saturday, August 29, to raise funds for programs at the Kapolei Library. The event will be held outside the library from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at 1030 Manawai Street in Kapolei. A large collection of books, CD’s, DVD’s and records will be on sale. For further information call the library at 808 693-7050.7050, or call Vanessa Lum, President of the Friends of the Library-Kapolei, at 808 223-7019.

Pat Pang (Nozaki) is a retired DOE secondary school teacher who taught school in Waianae for almost 40 years. She has served the community as a member of the Waianae Neighborhood Board and as a delegate to the 1978 Hawaii State Constitutional Convention. She was raised on the Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead and resided in Waianae during her years as a teacher.
